Empowering the Future Generation of Black Women Through TCI

Hi Friends,

As we approach the end of the year, we're excited to share the latest opportunities from The Collective Identity Mentoring (TCI) and invite you to join us in our mission to empower and inspire the young Black girls in our community.

Your support, no matter how big or small, helps us create a brighter future for these young girls.

Thank you for being a part of The Collective Identity Mentoring. Together, we can inspire, empower, and uplift the next generation of Black women in Los Angeles.

With kind regards,

Nicole Lynn

Job Shadowing and Informational Interviews:

Our girls are eager to explore various career options and learn from professionals like you. By offering job shadowing opportunities or informational interviews, you can provide valuable insights into your field and help them make informed decisions about their future careers. To get involved, please reach out to us via email at info@thecollectiveidentity.org.

Become a Mentor:

Applications are now open for our upcoming cohort of girls, starting in February 2024. If you're a professional woman with a strong desire to positively influence the future generation of Black women, we encourage you to become a mentor. Your guidance and support can make a profound impact on their lives.

Apply today on our Mentor Application Page.

Sponsor a Confab or Excursion Meal:

One of our biggest expenses is providing nutritious and inspiring meals during our confabs and excursions. Your support in sponsoring a meal helps create a warm and welcoming environment for our girls to bond and learn. To sponsor a meal, please contact us info@thecollectiveidentity.org.

Support Our Hair Braiding Clinic:

We're excited to introduce a new initiative – a hair braiding clinic. We're teaching our girls valuable skills and empowering them to embrace their natural hair. To support this program, we need supplies. You can make an in-kind donation of unopened and unused hair or a mannequin head for them to practice their newly learned skills. Visit our Amazon Wishlist to make a direct contribution.
